I think this is Jeff Osborn's model. He has had a number of interesting pieces pass through his hands, including an open D&RGW observation car imported by PBL that I never recall seeing advertised.
Also, a bunch of Sn3 equipment hit Brass Trains this week. A CONX 8 is on there, along with several wide frame CONX cars. These things are like bitcoin, so you would be wise to pick these up at any price. There are also an unusual number of flangers, MOW cars and even a C&S 22 was there for a while.

There has been a plethora of goodies appearing on Brass Trains of late. The following items are still available as of 9/29/24:
-Overland #9, unpainted -Overland #70, unpainted -Overland RGS #74, unpainted -PBL #76, painted. Box says DCC, description says DC -PBL #345 (honorary C&S lokie!) A couple Overland passenger cars passed across the page, as did a waycar. Also unusual are a number of tank cars (our version of Bitcoin!), a strangely large number of geese and MOW models, a RGS #22, and an Overland WP&Y Rotary #1 (painted): SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!

The early #5 is On3 |
OOPS--my bad. I had forgotten that OMI did the early #5 version in On3 as well as Sn3.

After more than 10 years of waiting I'm able to replicate the last train from Alma from our entry page.
Thank you all for your support, hints and good advice. Now I have to paint and letter No 8 and change the plow. Would anyone know what number the caboose was? I wish you all great Thanksgiving! Christian |
