Future of This Forum

Pat Student
ALL

I just noticed that Darrel posted this in May and there are no responses, "IMPORTANT PEASE READ: The Future of Nabble and this Forum by Darel Leedy"

Although my main intersest is the other Colorado railroad, I would be willing to contribute to keep this forum alive.

I too am willing to contribute to maintain and support this forum. What do we need to do this? This is a valuable platform for the presentation and exchange of information.

Thank you all. Darel and I will be meeting soon to discuss this. I believe Darel's primary concern is actually with the host provider we are currently using and their ability to store and back up data. It isn't really about the cost, although that could come into play in the future.

But rest assured that we all want to ensure that the blog, this forum and the archives may be preserved. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and support!

Stay tuned for updates.

Thank you, Mike and Darel, for working to keep this forum alive. Like others have said, it is such a valuable resource and the loss of so much collected knowledge would be a blow to C&Sng history and research.

Certainly we don't want to see the loss like Freerails was when it went down.
