LUMBER DELIVERY.

Fred 52
Hi everyone

Our home is allowing me to construct 3 7' x 2' modules so the residents and I can build a scale model narrow gauge layout. It be a point to point layout based on, you guessed it our beloved C&S. So today lumber was delivered to the senior care center where I live. unfortunately we are on a covid lockdown so construction will be delayed a bit. So far we have 4 men and 3 ladies interested. So until this little lockdown is over i had some of Harry brunk's drawings copied and blew up to O scale and so far we have 2 depots and an ironworks in the works. my own project I decided to tackle will be the Gunnison depot. my problem is that i\I need drawings and pictures of it. Could someone point me in right direction.

Thanks
Fred C.

Years ago Model Masterpieces made an O scale kit of the depot.
Finding one might be difficult.

Check out the article, "The Gilpin Tram in On30, Senior Citizens Dream", in the Jan-Feb 2022 Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette.   A senior pike in the Denver metro area. Sounds like"senior power" to me.

Hi everyone.

Well, a resident tested positive for Covid, so the constyrujction came to a screeching halt before we even got started. I made a slight error. our tops we are goingt to use are 24"w x 7'l bifold closet doors. I thought I ordered 3 hollow core indoor\ door but, the bifolds came instead. so these sections will give us a slightly larger layout. I hope to make it into an 'L' shape using flex track and prebuilt switches. I will post some pictures as we get started. I forgot a question about the Dickey engine house. Is there anyone who has either drawings or pictures of it?

Hey Fred.

Mike Blazek has plans for the Dickey engine house and depot. My copy is too large to scan.

Photos I can do:
