Harry Brunk is in hospice care

Sad to report but Michael Pannell had shared that Harry Brunk is in hospice care. Today (Sunday) is actually his birthday as well. Sad to hear of this- he has been such an inspiration to all of us as C&S modelers

This news is a bummer.

If it wasn't for Harry, I never would have given Idaho a second glance. It was his exposure of the Clear Creek in the Gazette 40+ years ago, that got me hooked on the old C.C. RR.

Harry's Gazette articles and beautiful artwork were the main reason that I became enamored with the C&S in my early 20's, and why I model it to this day.

I cherish every visit to Cheyenne to see the layout that fueled my dreams for all of these years.

I hope that his remaining time in this world is spent surrounded with the loving company of family and friends. His work has been a great inspiration to myself and many others including my late father, who was also a fan and taught me model railroading and let me help him with his layouts at an early age. Cheers and many thanks, Harry!
