Calling out to The Leadville Shops

Jaeger1900
Greetings and thanks for having me on board here.
Interested in starting up in the earlier period of narrow gauge ie circa 1900's.
Oscillating between On3 and Sn3. I am up to now mainly an O gauge modeller.
I see you seem to have lovely models and an interesting locomotive kit or etches.
I have tried to contact you via your website to no avail.
Please can you check and respond.
All best

Hi, Jon,

Great to have you on board. We do have some members here who are particularly interested in the 1900 period. I rebuilt an old On3 Balboa DSP&P Mogul several years ago as C&S #7 in brand new Livery.

To build engines of this period, we could use a little help with those McConnell stacks. The top of this one was a Urethane casting that may have been produced by one of our members. These are scarce as hen's teeth to find. I only used the top, the straight stack below is a cut off PSC casting. At the Convention last September, I saw several real nice early projects you would be interested in. I am currently plodding along with a circa 1900 #22, which would be a real nice companion to #7.

How about a"family" of Nesmith stacks for the 1878-1883 era:
      1)266T Bogies and Dawson&Baily Moguls-also #2 Platte Canyon
      2)Baldwin Consolidations,286T Bogies,Brooks Moguls
      3)Alternate Baldwin Consolidation style
      4)Early CC engines

Hi Robert,

At the 2017 NNGC convention we had talked about the St. Charles cars being done as woodbodies and a parts lists sometime around the first of the year. Do you have any information on the status of that project? I had given you my contact information and indicated my interest and support of the project. Thanks and best wishes.

Hi everyone.
Dr. Stears:  I seem to have a problem pulling up items on your website. I have used your decals and love them. I tried to send you an email off your message but it won't let me access your address. I have four cars needing decals. And they are ready for them. A coach#70, combine #20 a reefer and cAboose 1006. Plus there are three locomotives aawatimg letters too.
Thanks
Fred Cotterell.

Hello Bob and all,
Yesterday I checked the Leadville site out and was able to order some decals, so it seems OK from AU Paul R.
