forum header photo

Hi guys,
So last night I was perusing the internet (as one does) and visited our forum. I actually looked at the header photo and realized it was taken near Alma. As I would be in Alma today, I thought I'd try to replicate the shot.

This is the best I was able to do:


I realize I should have been a little further to the south to get the exact location, but there's a gigantic power substation back thataway and I felt it would mar the scene. Still, the grade is clear on the right. You can also see the Mosquito Pass road in the middle distance. Today's clouds somewhat obscured the view of Mount Bross.

Thanks Kurt. In the middle distance you can see something white on the ground. On my walk back to the car, I discovered it was a moose antler:


That's the first time I've ever found a moose antler in my many years of hiking in Colorado!
