Re: Welcome!

Russ Wood
I hope I can just hang around and gather info from you folks.  I model ON30 DRGW Chama to Antonito but narrow gauge is narrow gauge especially when it comes to modeling.  Question do most of you have layouts or modules or . . . ?  Russ

I'll try an image as well.

This photo, if it comes through, is taken on my current "layout", which is really about a 10' condensed version of my old On3 Dickey Yard from my '80's layout, which features several exceptional structures made by Todd Hackett, to whom I will always be indebted.

This is Train No.71 at Dickey, pausing while the Conductor signs the Register before heading Eastbound to Breckenridge.

Mike - Did you get the Dickey coal dock back from Rob? Did it make another cross-country trip?

Yes, indeed, and I'm proud to say that all 7' of it is still intact and in very good condition, and seeing pretty regular use.

Rob and Kayla moved to New Mexico in May 2013 and I took the coal dock to Bill Lund's, where it spent the summer.

I brought it back to Alabama in September in a U Haul trailer. I got run into a guard rail in Kansas which pretty well killed off my old truck, but the Coal Dock and other Dickey related contents in the trailer and other stuff survived just fine.

I'll post more pictures soon here. The fruits of many of your labors are prospering in Dickey yet again.

Good to see your post. There are several pictures that you'll find quite familiar posted here.

Derrell has been asking for pictures of the Depot, so those will be forthcoming shortly as well.
