Taking a lead from Robert and searching "near Waterton" produced this Otto Perry beauty from 1937.
I wonder if the Combine came from Waterton given that RH Kindig photographed several passenger cars there in the preceeding month.

Ha!  Remember the speeder at the level crossing in Silica from the "What is this?" thread.  It appears to have followed the train back up to Waterton:

What book is that first spread from?  (Those lime kilns appear to be thick-as-thieves in "dem parts".)

That's because #70 as by that was time assigned to the Clear Creek line and probably didn't need anything more "most" Winters.  Check photos of the D&RGW #360 plowing deep snow on Cerro Summit with only a boilertube cowcatcher in the DPL.

Here's #70 all proper-like.
