I like that idea. Looks neat. And does not take up much space.

  It is odd that this unload was not designed to have a spur onto elevated ground,
to use the magic of gravity to get the oil out of the rail car and into the distro carts
and tanks.  Why have the expense and hassle of a pump, when gravity just "makes
it flow" ???

That's up in the oil fields of Alberta (ie: loading oil, not unloading).

Nice picture.  A great modeling scene.  It has come up before but a great book on Ice Houses from the Colorado RR Museum.  Has picture of the Denver Ice & cold Storage plant.
