I posted part 1, 2, 3, & 4 of this series that attempts to chronicle the history of the restoration of the C&Sng's Georgetown Loop.
In Part 5, the missing high bridge of the Georgetown Loop continues to be the final barrier to the Loop becoming a loop. Various attempts are made to raise the money including a failed attempt involving a famous actor. Finally, the Boettcher Foundation comes through and a small ceremony is held to begin the project to reconstruct the Devil's Gate Viaduct.
