It struck me the other day that while quite a few C&S narrow gauge pieces of rolling stock have been preserved, only one is presently in active, regular rail service. That is former refrigerator car No. 1116. I had a chance to ride it last year on the Georgetown Loop. It has a curious history after it left the C&S in 1938.
