Don't you mean Bird's Eye?
No Robert, 3 Mile Tank was a UPD&G/C&S location.

edit: Birds Eye  MP144.86  Three Mile Tank MP147.56   DSP&P Mac Poor source.  French Gulch Tank MP142.36 was 8.83 miles out from Leadville, I wonder why it wasn't called Nine Mile tank in that case

An interesting tidbit for our earlier discussion of power lines:

Herald Democrat, Sept 3, 1921

Since the break was at Robinson, presumably the Boulder line came over Argentine and up Ten-Mile, while Shoshone must have come over Tennessee pass?

Cheers,
Jeff.

I have no idea exactly where this was situated around Kokomo.

Re: Ten Mile Stations of the D&RG --More.

Is that a railroad grade on the other side of the creek?  If so, it would likely be the D&RG (which more closely followed water level around Kokomo), with the C&S in the foreground.

But if that's the case, and this is looking south to Fremont Pass, then it's not near Kokomo (as the tracks are on the same side of the creek south of town, and much farther apart north of town).

But what if it's not really looking toward Fremont Pass?  What if that's Jacque Peak in the background, and we're looking up toward Searle Pass (and the trackage is to the Breen Mill and the Wilfey)?

Due to recent outings of Matt Hutson, I was reminded to add to the information previously included, rather than a continuum here.

Colorado Artifactual has this sweet,  "for sale" image.

Climax, Lillian Aho Collection, purported to be 1918/19.
