Here are photos of some of the buildings in my South Park layout . these sections are the new part, this layout is portable! first a general view of the Depot and Hotel with the coal pockets in front.
Good looking structures -- look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for all the comments,
It is a shortened version of the depot, I was debating which colour scheme to do it. the early photo has it a dark colour, that's why I decided on that.
The hotel is still waiting to be finished- doors, window glass and some interior . The building is as long as I could fit in and has the set back as the Mellon Photo shows.
The coal pockets have a lot of work yet,it separates into 3 parts so I can spike the rail down. It has been narrowed to fit where it sits - a miscalculation when I did the tracklaying, which is also the reason for the mirror image and only 6 pockets.
Love the comments, makes me a better modeler. Paul R.
Nice work. I like the Pacific.
I am in need of building a Hotel. I go back and forth as to what one to model for my layout.
There is the option of building the Pacific the day after it burnt down.
Great to see pictures of other peoples layout.
I thought someone would have picked me up on the dual gauge track, all handlaid using copperclad sleepers as well as spiked, points( switches) using a Fasttracks Jig. Will sort out some photos of the rest of the layout. This is a portable layout which I use at the local club exhibition( yearly) has 2 yard areas called- Romley and Hancock. Paul R.
Photos of the rest of the layout, this is Hancock.
,
The details change every time I set it up, there are better pics of Romley, have to find them. The layout is a basic oval with the new South Park section coming off The end of Romley. Paul R
Missed the labelling,
Top photo-Hancock, next Romley bridge, next Hancock wye wrong tank, new Hancock tank under construction. Help can 2 of those Photos be rotated?.Paul R.
I recognized the bridge as the one at Romley before reading your description. Witch in my mind means you have made a good model of it. You will need to use your computer to rotate the photo before uploading it. Faststone is a nice free program that can do that, resize and some other stuff also. http://www.faststone.org/
I love this thread. I do have a question about the the coaling facility. Is there any drawings available for it? And for the depot as well? I am going to try my hand at scratch building a few of these things.
Thanks
