Sn3 Symposium Tour at Dickey

Thank you to everyone who ventured up this way yesterday during the open house for the Sn3 Symposium. It was great to be able to see so many old (??) and new friends, many of whom read and participate in this group.

The turnout far exceeded my expectations and there were so many I would have liked to talk with but there simply wasn't enough time.

Please feel free to stop by any time you might be in the area and we can visit again.

The crew put on the dog and dragged out the Rotary for the first time this season to get some air.

Again, thanks so much to all who were able to be here.

Mike, it was great to see you! We had about 70 show up to each of our layouts on successive days. It was super to see lots of old friends. We missed Dr. Courtney, though I saw Dale Kruetzer send him a text. Mr. Student was missed, too!

Thanks, Keith.

I really enjoyed the last few days with the Sn3-All Scales Welcome Symposium. I was in the company of old and new friends and it was a really well planned event.

This was the first time I've had an open house for a large group in this location, and felt a little overwhelmed by the numbers, but everyone got along and soaked in what they could as they moved through.

I'll be very glad to do it again, that's for sure.

And for anyone who would like to visit but was not able to, just contact me and we'll work it out. Like Coach Prime says, "I ain't hard to find."

Mike

Thank you for opening, it is the individuals that open their layout that make a big impact on events like these. The best part is seeing old and new friend for sure. It sure does make the effort worthwhile, I am going to remember this past week for a long time.

Thank you
Dave

Mike,
that picture has me wondering, were you at Dan Abbott's Gilpin Tramway ramble around Nevadaville in 2004, several days before the Santa Clara NNGC?

No, Chris. I've never done a field ramble with Dan. But then, I am getting pretty old!
