Also this photo or one like it appeared in Bogies and the Loop about a year ago and the station is easily recognizable.

Paul was the President of the ill-fated C&Sng Hysterical a Society years ago. Their publication was called "The Beartrap". Rick, Derrell, Chris Lane, Klaus Gunnick, and I were founding members. Things got ugly and we had to dis-associate from the org. Paul was left in charge and it faded away.

Tell the truth Doug,

Paul wasn't left in charge, Paul went through all the legal machinations to make sure that he was in charge from the beginning and wouldn't listen to anybody but himself.

His leadership of the group became so despotic that nobody could stand him and his entire board walked away.

I still have my collection of Beartraps somewhere, why, I don't know, but I do.

Actually the Beartraps were quite good thanks to Chris Lane's help. Lots of good information contributed by a few folks on this forum. I've considered posting some of the articles on the blog since many people have never seen or heard of them before. I think there were only 6 issues. I never received the last issue that Paul made after Chris's departure because of my falling out too.

Will never forget the place as it was where I decided to lay my mother's ashes to rest in the South Platte River as it was her final request. The last time I first saw the remains of my mother literally was at the site of the station there as we loaded her into a model boat ballasted with her and flowers that was floated down the river towards Strontia on her birthday in 2012. Absolutely beautiful in the confluence.

Me too, somewhat shamefully displayed at the back of similiar N.G. ephemera.
