My latest eBay find. It's a great early (probably 1880 or 1881) Charles Nast photo of DSP&P 13 Ruby with some flatcar loads of people. I don't know the significance of the caption - there are nowhere near 600 people and only one (other than the guy in the cab who looks to be the conductor) is well dressed. Several are holding shovels, so it looks more like a work crew.
