Ruby with Sullivan's Democrats

My latest eBay find. It's a great early (probably 1880 or 1881) Charles Nast photo of DSP&P 13 Ruby with some flatcar loads of people. I don't know the significance of the caption - there are nowhere near 600 people and only one (other than the guy in the cab who looks to be the conductor) is well dressed. Several are holding shovels, so it looks more like a work crew.

That's a different print. Mine shows a little more at the right, that one has a little more to the left. Look at where the left edge is relative to the pilot and the window in the background. I'd prefer that print, but am happy with what I got. Also, that one has some minor damage to the upper-right and lower-left corners that mine doesn't.
