Jim, my local Hobby Lobby stocks the Tungsten putty.  I think it is $11 an ounce.  Rather pricey to me…

Tiny dots of 5 minute epoxy can make decent rivets or bolt heads with a little practice.  Of course Tichy sells plastic rivets in a variety of sizes too.

Paint and lettering are complete. Once everything is dry,  The car will get one last clear coat and the deck will go on. Getting close to done.

The side sill didn't provide much real estate for all the reporting marks and data, so the C&S really crowded it all in.

Withe the lettering complete, it was time to start in on the deck.

Installation went quickly,  and there were just enough boards. Whew!

Brake hoses and brake wheel are on. This project is now complete!

I don't know why I titled this thread "Phase II" as the car is really a Phase I.

Well done, Keith, well done!!!

This may be the first model of a phase 1, 1902, flat car that I've ever seen completed. This is inspiring work (he says as a hint).

As to the mislabeled thread title, well there is always the "edit" function . . .
