At first I thought this was a photo of the last passenger leaving Como for Denver. It is muddy and cloudy like others photos. I also drew this inference by all the folks sweeping to the right, possibly watching the train departing to the east.
But if you look at the switch stand target to the right, you will see a locomotive and tender heading to the wye. The tender looks to be one of 71-73.
And then there is the wayward, jauntily spotted on the lead of the east yard going to Leadville.
