Narrow Gauge Trail in Chalk Creek Canyon

Kurt Maechner
Hello all, maybe this site is widely known, but I was not aware of the Narrow Gauge Trail in Chalk Creek Canyon.  Having learned about it via Coloradoguy.com website, I put a post together about it and of a "recent" rock fall on it as well.  If anyone has been there more recently, I'd love to know its condition as my family and I hope to visit the spot this summer.

Enjoy,
Kurt

The photograph on the trail marker has appeared in several DSP&P books(Memorial p196}.About 1/4 mile behind the train in the foreground is another train-can somebody enlarge this portion of the photograph? The surroundings near the train in the background look like the construction train photo of Bogie #6-could that be the  train in the background??

This sounds like an interesting trail to explore. Does anyone know what its length is?

One site says it's approximately 2 miles long.
