Map of the Baldwin branch.

Fatbiker52
Hi. I am wondering if somewhere there exists a map of the Baldwin branch. I am interested in doing a layout of part of it.

Colorado Railroad Museum has copies of the valuation maps  The Baldwin brach is in a set along with the Crested Butte Branch, Floresta Branch and Lake City Branch.  I just bought a different set a couple months ago and  want to say that the cost is $45.00 per set.

Thank you guys for your input. When I build my layout this information will come in handy. My layout is going to be a freelanced On30 line using C&S, D&RGW and some what if locos and equipment. Once again thanks.

I guess that this link to your previous thread questions would be in order.
I would like to take this opportunity to point out that my pictorial essay in that thread has the photos arranged in a misleading array.  I had hoped to have rewrote that by now but life and locomotive building has got in the way.  E.G. the "End-of-Track" Richardson photo is actually of the original line up to the Kubler Mine not the line to Ohio Pass.  I have a bit more info to share on this,

I decided to abandon the rio grande central name in favor of one more to my liking. I fell in love with the C&S a mom time ago. So what does the group think?

How far beyond Grand Junction did DSP&P surveyors get?Could there be stakes or cut tree stumps beyond the end of finished grade point?

I contacted Larry Green and he said he would share information with me. Whoever turned me on to him, a hearty thank you is in order. Now the fun begins.  Planning and having my son help me with the layout. My wife wants to help too by building some structures. So now we start, again. Moving from a 4x8 plywood layout just to run locos and equipment is going to be grand.
