French Gulch Water Tank and Rotary question

Kurt Maechner
The C&S used steam-powered rotary 99201 into the early 1960s between Leadville and Climax, with its last run in 1965. Does anyone know if they watered the rotary at French Gulch Tank? I'm just curious if they still used the tank after the end of steam engines on the line in 1962.

I'm sure they did, Kurt. They would have had to.

Do not forget that there was a tank called Three Mile Tank just out of Leadville on the way to Climax.  Not too far from the Leadville Mineral Belt connection.  This tank was removed in 1945.  Tom Klinger
