Interesting noting the engines and loads.

Anyone else note the speed for #87-#88 and #89-#90 on the run from Dickey to Dillon and return.  Don't see how they got the milk cans and mail off in that time.  That had to be Jumbo Miller as engineer.   No wonder there are not photos of the passenger train running on that section of track! Wow. That's fantastic. Of particular interest to me are the signatures of both Tom St. John as Conductor on Passenger Trains and Curley Colligan on Engine #44 (#68 in your book), both well known today as the last Engineer and Conductor on the last Passenger Trains in and out of Como and Leadville in 1937. And, of course, Sam Speas Sr, on Engine #40.

Also, in my book, the appearance of the first engine out of the Como Shops in C&S livery, #7, in December. Does #7 appear in your book?

Yes, #7 first appears Nov 7 on the Dickey Dillon run.
Stays there every day rest of month, except does not appear Nov 19

Thanks, Jimmy. My book starts the next day, Nov. 20. Engine #7 does not reappear until Dec 11, with Westbound Train No. 71, and the two trains associated with the Westbound runs to Dillon, trains, No's 89 and 90. The next day, Dec 12, #7 returns Eastbound to Denver on Train No. 72, and the associated Eastbound runs to Dillon and back, Trains No.'s 87 and 88. Looks like Engineer Stein on #7 with Conductor Smith.
