C&S #58

Lee Gustafson
Two questions, first was C&S #58 ever configured as an oil burner, second did PSC ever import an On3 version of #58 configured as as an oil burner? Thanks in advance.

Lee,

While I am not an expert on which loco's were converted to an oil burner then back again to coal, I think I can answer the PSC question.

No, they were not imported as coal burners. The only C&S brass oil burner models were the OMI #70's

Hi Lee, I think the seller copied and pasted the #70 listing and modified it for the #58 auction. I've done that for a few of my own auctions with On30 items that I've sold, but it's a good idea to carefully review them before the listing is posted.
