AI faces in old photos

Todd Hackett
I know this will be controversial, but I tried enhancing the faces in this photo of passengers at the summit of Mt. McLcllan on the Argentine Central using Topaz Labs PhotoAI and its Recover Faces function. Some people were blurry due to their movement during the exposure, and the AI did some strange things with some of them while others had a surreal mix of sharp and blur, so I added back some blurring to some of those. I find that the enhanced photo gives a better sense of realism, but I'm keeping both and noting which has AI enhancements in the file name.

Hey Todd, that is remarkable.  I do think maybe a standard needs to be set on a photo credit that it has been modified digitally.  I have not been doing that.  Now on an other subject in that photo, how in the heck did those folks keep their hats on.  Never been there and there was not any wind!  Tom Klinger
