Trains that traveled west through the Alpine Tunnel reached Pitkin and then Ohio City. Ohio City, while considered a ghost town by some, still exists today and has a number of residents. In this video my family and I visited the site of the Colorado & Southern's Railway's facilities in Ohio City and also climbed a hill in an attempted to recreate an early 1900's hilltop photo of the town with an eastbound two-engine train just about to reach the depot. I made the video below to show what we found and a few then and now photos of the town.
