A mini-DSP&P-who is this?

Kurt Maechner
While searching for DSP&P stuff, I have come upon these videos of a live steam-type group a couple of times.  There is no description other than naming it "Denver, South Park & Pacific."  They also use place names like Selkirk and Como.  Does anyone know more about these folks?

I do not think I have spoken with them, so if I have apologies. They did have a web site, located somewhere the other side of Hartsel from memory, completely forgot about them, have intended to go and look see but never did.

Thanks to some folks who tracked down the website, I was able to get information on this 7 1/2 inch gauge railroad named The DSP&PRR.  I wrote a post with a quick history of the line, some details regarding equipment, and several videos of the route.  A link to their website is located there too.
Below is a shot of their ballast cars and a shot of their track plan.

Neat videos. That poor old dog just about pooped out following the train though.

The "Mini-DSP&PRR" and an invitation to ride

I got in touch with the owner of the DSP&PRR mentioned in this previous thread.  He writes,

"you are welcome to come ride the trains next time we run hopefully it will be in July. I have had a knee replacement surgery and it is taking a while to recover. The trains I run are part of a world wide hobby called "Live Steam Railroading". Go to webpage called discoverlivesteam.com and click on the railroads tab and you will find the directory for all the US and worldwide clubs and links to their webpages. I am a BIG fan of the South Park RR.
