Re: #537 in Sn3

Jan P. Rons
NedSn3,
Don't be afraid to examine that possibility. Enclosed are some pics of a C-25 (pre PBL) that came about just that way. I had a K-27 frame laying about, I built new tail pieces and made this #375. I believe it could be made to work. There might be some differences in the wheelbase. But it's your model and your railroad. And I can assure you that I'd never tell a soul.

Does Jan Ron’s still accept commissions for paintings?

 Hello from Arizona,
With all the recent interest in CB&Q #537. And seeing Bill's fine work, I got enthused about finishing my Sn3 537 project. It was started a number of years ago after seeing Mike's engine while attending a NG convention in Denver. The model spent years in my parts tray as I accumulated parts and gathered info. Much information has become available since I started working on it.
With the exception of a short punch list, the project is essentially finished. It still requires air honing and paint. I plan to get those tasks done soon.
Thanks and I hope you enjoy the pics
