I looked through the archive of the Rocky Mountain Rail Report, the newsletter of the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club and put a post together with some miscellaneous South Park Line/C&Sng news from the 1966 editions including:

The near demolition of the dilapidated, but stable Silver Plume depot by highway grading crews.

The rescue of the depot by the Loveland Ski Patrol.

Hope for the reconstruction of the Georgetown Loop.
