Maybe it's just one of those quirky things that defines the C&S.

The tender truck design, the wood coal gates, the use of the boxes at the front of the water legs to anchor the bunker side sheets, and the marker brackets which seem to be influenced by the old tender flairs all reflect to a time before C&S days on the South Park.
