This area has captured the imagination of generations of modelers since I-70 was improved through this area in the 60s.

I myself attempted a flat of the Stanley Consolidated shaft house:

It is a large beast of a thing--even at just over a inch deep, it is about 24" long. I never got to finish the lettering, as I demo-ed the layout and started construction on Leadville.

The parts persist however and may reappear. Thinking out loud, maybe I can repurpose this at Climax?
