Could well be, certainly my first thought.
But it also could be the
Tool House 10’ x 14’ wood that John also referenced.
On the other hand, is that a privy over by the west leg of the wye, or could it be the sand house, next to where the ash pit used to be?

It's pretty far away from the depot to be of convenience on a cold, snowy night:

The same building shows up at the edge of the frame in the 1890s McClure photograph, very close to the ashpit:

I wonder if the ash pit survived into the late 1920s?
