This is fascinating, Chris.

I always envisioned the string of coal cars on the Newhouse/Argo siding as empties, waiting to be loaded at the bins or mill.  It never occurred to me that they were delivering ore to the mill.  And transported uphill via mine tram incline at that.

Idaho Springs really is a jigsaw pussle isn't it; and the picture your trying to complete changes every so years.
