A bit more data on the Buda:
Chris was on to something I didn't realize: the fronts of the legs are vertical; all the slope is in the back of the legs.
There is a radius fillet at the bottom of the legs (which are cast integrally with the base). Immediately above that the legs are 4-1/4" thick.
There's no radius at the tops (the top plate is a separate piece which is bolted to the legs). The legs are 3-1/4" thick at the top.
The internal web is 1-1/2" back from the front surface of the legs all the way up.
The base is 16-1/2" wide at the center of the button. (Or at least it would be if there wasn't a crescent cut out of the back. The crescent is 2-1/4" deep by 10" wide.)
The center of the web of the legs is 5" from the straight part of the back; 11-1/2" from the center of the front button.
Cheers,
Jeff.
