Hi Dave. I would suggest you start a new thread which outlines what you are wanting to share and seek input from others. Then see where it goes. One thing I have enjoyed about this Forum is that it allows for a great deal of information to be shared and also archived. Darel and I share concern with others who wish at least some assurance that information which is contributed both from research and also other sources such as interviews can be saved in a way that future researchers, modelers, and historians might find valuable.

The best way this can be achieved is for our members and participants post information that is of interest to them and to encourage others to participate. Keith Pachina's  excellent thread on the Gilpin lines sets an example of a single thread containing seemingly endless information. At some point, it may be useful to start a second installment to make it easier to both load and follow. There are numerous other threads which contain solid information and interest, and then drop out of current view but can still be reached through the search tools of both the Forum and the Blog.

So I'd suggest you go for it and see where it leads. We'll be happy to help with sorting, moving, or other suggestions if your topic branches out in different directions.

Darel and I will pursue options that can offer permanent storage and access of the information archived herein the Blog.
