Some progress.
I got my scenery to a place where I think the AP jury will be satisfied, so turned my attention back to the hay barn. One of the vent end walls was cut incorrectly. So I made a new one, sanded all the shapes to fit the roofs and completed those parts.
The building got a bath in alcohol followed by a coat of black primer. I painted the eaves yellow (unpainted wood), gave the walls a light coat of sand and finished with a shade of brown.
