I was having trouble reconciling the picture of the C&S trestle over the D&RG tracks with Todd’s excellent map.  You can certainly see Recen to the right, but where’s Kokomo to the left?

Then I remembered that Kokomo burned down in 1881, and they rebuilt mostly within Recen but called the result Kokomo.

Which means that in 1936 I should be modelling mostly what is Recen in the early photos (the location of the D&RG yard and the “downtown” C&S depot).
