check back to the pictures of the #12, those flag/lamp bracket castings on the smokebox, I'm guessing they're castings, don't look like stampings, which would for sure to be symmetrical have left and right versions.  The wonder here, did some-one apply them in a reversed manner in a shopping so the flagstaff insert round is leading?  
Thats what I've been keeping my eye out for. {:))
