Jim, I have had my eye on a painted 6 or 8 for some time.

For now I will go without as I opted to attend the upcoming Sn3 Symposium in Seattle instead. Maybe next year.

Thanks for the story about how these models came to be. I suspect it would not be much work to convert them to DCC and put a sound system in them. If only I could get 7th Street Shops to drill out the markers so those can operate too?

FYI, I just surveyed eBay and there is a fair amount of Sn3 brass there, including a 1002.
