Two photos along the west side of Boreas:

Looking down the grade at Illinois Gulch. The newly constructed Gold Pan Shops are in the distance.

The locomotive is a recently rebuilt Cooke 2-6-0 with Columbine emblem on the cab; the rounded dome tops suggest number 9.
Note RPO 13, before the end platforms were removed and the mail compartment rebuilt. Another of the tall window observation coaches trails the consist.
