The photo is labeled "Dumont" but it is obviously a panorama of the West end of Idaho Springs.  Interesting things in the enlargements posted:





The boxcar lettering suggests a date of 1901-1906. The taller boxcar at the left end of the string of cars is one of the 1899 St Charles boxcars, still with delivery lettering scheme.





Down by the water tank, is it my imagination, or is that a very steep spur leading down toward the creek, ending below a petroleum storage tank??
