Baldwin, Pitkin branches for Dillon branch swap

I was looking through a 1911 “Railway Age” magazine online this week and saw the attached note of the swap of the Baldwin and Pitkin branches for the D&RG Dillon branch. We know it happened and why but it is interesting to see a contemporary account.
