In reading the July 25, 1902 Park County newspapers in History Colorado's digital newspapers I came across this item; "Frank Gumaer and Johnney-behind-the-car left for Horseshoe district". What is "Johnney-behind-the-car"? Is that a trailer from the section crew attached to the end of the train? The Horseshoe district would refer to the branch at Hill Top(Fairplay- Leavick Branch) that went up grade to the mines. Is this only a newspaper's reporting? Tom Klinger
