Tour guide to Alpine Tunnel - ebay question

Kurt Maechner
Is anyone familiar with this guide book by Charles Page for sale on ebay?
Does it have anything interesting to make it worth the purchase?

Just curious.
Thanks,
Kurt

Re: Tour guide to Alpine Tunnel - ebay question

Chris Walker
I have it, on my shelf, bought it at Hi-Country Brass on my first trip way back in '82....and there it stays.
It is OK as an introduction to the area, but extremely dated(printed 1978) now, and sooooo pale in comparison to Dow Helmers Alpine Tunnel book, and of course D.S.P.&P. of Mac Poor, both of which I got later after the guide book.
As a collectors item, go for it at the .99c bargain price.
