After reading the interchange item from Chris(looking at the point of a spike from down under rather than the head of the spike) I would refer folks to the South Park's interchange at Newett with the Midland. Dan Edwards in his Documentary of the South Park #1 lists coal for Leadville from Baldwin being transferred. Check pages 191-195, all material from the Colorado Rail Museum. All indicates more info needed on "some" interchange moves on the DRG from Buena Vista as well as South Park items going out of Gunnison on the DRG. Bottom line is that there is more to be dug up on the South Park! Tom Klinger
