South Park Line trestle specifications

Group, I have been contacted by Breckenridge History for information/specs on the remaining trestle bents across the Blue river in Downtown Breckenridge.  They are planning to RESTORE that short section of the trestle and even plan on laying rail on the ties!  They will have the timber milled to spec and desire to make it as accurate as possible.
Does anyone have any info on this?
Wes Pfarner, the librarian/archivist at the Friends library in Albuquerque provided generic specs on wood trestles from "A treatise on wooden trestle bridges according to the present practice on American railroads".  It looks really close (albeit std guage) but I am not certain.
Breckenridge History (formerly Breckenridge Heritage Alliance) has done a lot for preserving RR history in Summit County.  The Railroad Park in Breck is amazing and they have also supported our work in Como.  Restoring that short section of trestle over the Blue river would be, quite simply, really cool.
Thanks,
Bob Schoppe

Hi Bob,
I have plans for Grande narrow gauge trestles if you can't find C&S standards.

Cheers,
Matt

Ahem!

Jim Courtney Files C&S Standard Trestle

Joe Crea drew the Coaling Trestle Plans in his collaboration book Structures of The Early West.

And don't forget that the C&S Dabbed (or Dapped) their Guard Timbers 1" to 2" over the Ties.  They also had a different spacing and grouping of the Stringers compared with the D&RG(W).

Hi, Bob.

Back in the 80's, I had a C&S Building and Bridges book that came from the C&S from later days. I know who has that book now and I'll see about getting it back so we can see if there is any relevant information for this project.

Ken, that is a great drawing - thanks for digging back nearly 50 years to find it.

This is really encouraging news, Bob. Does anyone have photos of those remaining trestle bents? I wasn't aware of their presence.

The remaining trestle bents are at the south end of town, where the C&S mainline crossed the Blue.

Here's how it looked when the Gold Pan Pit was under construction:

Jim, thanks for these great views.  It looks like over time much of the trestle bents were filled in with tailings.
Here are a couple of closeups of the bents I took some years ago.
