Apologies if this is old news, this is the wait station that's at Santa Maria now. We visited it at the DSP&P Historical Society convention in 2012.

This structure seems to match the footprint and roof of the blurry wait station on the Sanborn postcard posted at the bottom of the previous page. The placement at the bottom of the embankment below the hotel also matches.

So, Jackson's rustic little wait station had to be located somewhere else . . .
