Pitkin depot to be moved

The Pitkin depot has been moved so it can be zoned commercial.
I don't know the full motivations.
The bad news is that it has been moved from its location since 1881.
The good news is that I heard they hope was to convert it into a museum and to restore the interior to the depot as opposed to a residence.

Looks like it might be a blessing in disguise as they found some wood that needs to be replaced on the wooden foundation that they would not have known about. That being said the town council was being petty.
