Thanks for the plug, Robert. Both NWSL's Dave Rygmyr and Bill Meredith (Leadville Shops and maker of the Class 60 loco featured a few weeks ago on this blog) use a Scottish firm - which name escapes me. Dave ran across this firm on the web and had a sheet of gearboxes for the new Cube Drive 3 (a transmission like device that is still in development) etched. The quality is excellent and the price surprisingly reasonable. Best of all it is my understanding that they don't have a large minimum so if you just want one sheet done they will do it. The flat stock for Bill's class 60 Baldwins and Grants were also the product of this company... I just don't remember the name!
