Peabody Placer and Hamilton's Point.

Chris Walker
Another unpublished picture for ya!  Taken below Hamiltons Point.

Peabody's siding served the small town of Hamilton at the foot of Boreas Pass.

#115 stopped at Hamilton's Point.

Great picture!  Too bad it's not a bit farther forward so we could see if Robert's cabin is there yet or not.

Robert's cabin was supposed to have built around 1867.

Oh, cool.  I didn't realize there was a known date for it.

Re: Peabody Placer and Hamilton's Point. fwiw.

Chris Walker
The Peabody photo is thought(by some) to be taken by or of the Dr. C.H. Scott, but the written captions on both pictures are strikingly similar, and the #112 photo has a Creede byline.

The Robert's Cabin is prominant in a 1867 view of Hamilton; I should have pointed that out more succinctly.

And these are my contributions, ROI for those contributions by everyone else.
