Due to the recent rash of newly registered spammers, the user account settings have been changed. Previously, any "Registered" user could post or reply to the forum. From this point forward, only "Members" may do so. Any user already registered as of today is now a "Member" and you will not have to do anything. All "new" registered users will be prompted to "request to become a member" when they try to post a message. They will then be asked to provide a reason for their request and may even be quizzed by Roper himself.
I think I've correctly vetted the current members, but one or two spammers may have slipped by and will be quickly banned if they do post. Hopefully this will eliminate the spam we have been experiencing. Thanks again everyone for your participation!
